How do I login?

The system requires cookies and javascript be turned on.

From any of the main pages in www.drivewelldrivingschool.com.au you can access the login page by clicking on the "Online Booking" button on the left of the page. When in the booking page you then must firstly click on the text box next to "Username" then type in your username that you were provided with, press the "tab" button on your keyboard or click with your mouse to move to the "Password" field and then enter your password. Press "Enter" on your keyboard or click "Login" with your mouse to finish the login process. You will now be presented with the current day and lessons available, from this page you can navigate to other days and book lessons as appropiate. If you come to a page saying your username and password were incorrect use your browsers back button to return to the login page and retype the username and password correctly. If you are having any trouble make sure you dont have the caps-lock button on as the system is case sensative.

How do I logoff?

To log off the system you can click "log off" in the top bar of the booking system pages as long as your not in the process of adding or editing a lesson. At any time you can't see the "log off" link just press the "Lesson Booking System" link and it will take you back to the first page of the booking system where the "log off" link is available. You can also just close your browser window to log off.

WARNING: If you do not log off and continue browsing the internet your username and password may be comprimised.

Can multiple people schedule the same meeting?

The short answer is:No, It's not possible.
The first person to click on the Save button in the "add Entry" section wins.
Behind the scenes, the system is using a proper multi-user, multi-threaded relational database than can handle many thousands of simultaneous users.

How do I make a booking?

You create a booking by firstly logging in and then browsing to your desired booking time. Click on the white car in the time slot you wish to book and then in the form presented either tick the box to be picked up at the address you signed up with or fill in the details to be picked up elsewhere. Your instructor will receive your lesson booking time and pickup details instantly via a electronic mobile device. Just fill in the Additional Info box to send an additional message to your instructor by email. After filling out the form just press SAVE and you will be taken to the day on which the lesson was booked, you will now notice it has the BOOKED message displayed. Make sure u log off after using the booking system.

How do view/print my bookings?

To view or print out a list of your bookings, firstly log in and then click on the "MY BOOKINGS" button in the top right of the booking system. This will take you to the lesson report page. To view the lessons you have booked select a time period apon which to report and click the "Run Report" button. By default the report is set for a period of two months. To get a printed copy of your lessons, you need to have run a report which returned some entries, you then need to click "Print Preview" at the bottom of the report page. After doing this you then can use the print function in your web browser. Which is usually accesed by clicking "file" and then "print" in your browers interface, most browsers also support holding down "CTRL" and then pressing "p" as an alternative.

How do I delete/alter a booking?

In order to delete or alter a booking, you must be logged in as the same person that made the booking. Click on the "MY LESSONS" button in the upper-right corner of the booking system. You will be presented with a reporting tool from which you need to select a period. Press the "RUN REPORT" button this will provide a report of the lessons you have booked in the time period. Clicking the "EDIT" button on any of the lessons will allow you to edit the lesson. You can either delete the lesson completely or change the pickup address and contact number for that lesson. If you just want to re-schedule the lesson you are still required to delete it and re-book a lesson in the usual way.

NOTE:You cannot edit or delete a booking within 48hrs of the lesson start time.

How do I make a recurring booking?

Clicking on the desired time brings you into the booking screen. Select the appropriate Repeat Type. The lesson will be scheduled at the same time, until the Repeat End Date, on the days determined by the Repeat Type. A Daily repeat schedules every day. A Weekly repeat schedules those days of the week that you check under Repeat Day. For example, use Weekly repeat to schedule the lesson every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; check those days under Repeat Day. If you check no days under Repeat Day, the schedule will repeat on the same day of each week as the first scheduled day. A Monthly repeat schedules the same day of each month, for example the 15th of the month. A Yearly repeat schedules the same month and day of the month, for example every March 15th. Finally, a Monthly, corresponding day repeat schedules one day each month, the same weekday and ordinal position within the month. Use this repeat type to schedule the first Monday, second Tuesday, or fourth Friday of each month, for example. Do not use this repeat type after the 28th day of the month.

How do I delete one instance recurring booking?

Select the day/instructor/time that you want to delete and select Delete Entry.

My lesson booking failed to be created because of "too many entries"!

Any person cannot create more than 365 entries. There needs to be some limit on the number of bookings created. If you see this message you have presumably, accidently made a recurring booking for over a year, check your bookings and delete the recurring booking and re-enter the booking required.

Why has recurring bookings been disabled?

We have disabled the ability to make recurring bookings while introducing the booking system. We feel the extra complexity may be daunting to some users and it isnt really that hard to individually create your required bookings. We will consider enabling it again if we get considerable intrest shown.

Why cant i Edit my booking?

NOTE:You cannot edit or delete a booking within 48hrs of the lesson start time.
After the booking system has been established for a while we will change this so that you are able to edit the pickup details within 60 minutes of the lesson start time.
